Tropiflora Plant Festival - Oct. 4th

event one
This Florida festival has  a special section of tents called the 'Bargain Bin' where thousands of plants are drastically reduced for rapid sale. These bargain plants literally fly out the door and the crews are busy restocking stocking the tables all day long. In addition to our own plants, we host about 20 outside vendors selling plant material from bamboo to bougainvilleas, crotons, aroids, ferns, orchids, succulents, shrubs, annuals, fruit trees and palms. There are water garden plants and plants for landscape and patios, along with garden supplies and yard art.  CLICK HERE  to find this and more Florida annual events.

Dont Miss the Caladium Festival in Lake Placid Florida

The 15th Annual Caladium Festival will be held here on July 26-28th. Ninety-nine percent of the world's caladiums are grown here, making this small rural community the Caladium Capital of the World. Row after row of caladiums in full growth in the fields, plus their extensive use in residential and commercial landscapes show the caladium at its full color.Bus tours of the fields and homes are available all three days of the festival, with caladium farmers serving as tour guides. This has become a major drawing card at the festival. This is one of many Florida
annual events not to be missed.
A popular attraction is the Caladium Co-op, housed in a 10,000 square-foot building where a large selection of fine -hand-crafted items are offered for sale. During the Caladium Festival, artists and crafters can be seen at work. CLICK HERE
